It's the first day of school. We had some drama and some irritability but for the most part I think they are excited. We met the teachers last night at open house. I'm looking forward to a great year.

(Thanks for your comment. BTW, I have to tell you that the no-sarcasm rule is one of single most powerful things to eliminate problems in the classroom. My students are already heavily in SELF-policing. It truly is miraculous. When I don't have dramas to deal with I actually have time to teach)
